Huge Sillytoe writes poetry and makes sounds and is unsure that they are distinct activities. They also make (supra)musical instruments out of reclaimed materials and form part of numerous punk rock bands, noise orchestras, and screech operas as singer, guitarist, drummer, and puppeteer. Through these intertwined projects Huge explores (dis)harmony as symbolizing both existential absurdity and socio-political inequality and considers how we might retune oppressive normative scales into freer and fairer fanfares.
