I am a planet, you can change me: Full body mask-making

In collaboration with Huerto Roma Verde and Fundación Educa with funding support from British Council, Huge Sillytoe facilitated workshops with groups of young people in schools across Mexico City and the surrounding state to construct full-body mask costumes of imaginary planets from recycled textiles. During FAMA Fest festival of environmentalist arts, these planets were brought to life in collective performances with the children, inviting the public to ‘change the world’ by adding extra elements or cutting parts off from the planets as they orbited around the festival space.
