Avant-Garde Performance and Freedom Struggles

In the context of the former Soviet prison of Karosta Prison Musuem in Liepaja, Latvia, Huge Sillytoe created a series of workshops with local art students as part of Karosta Festival exploring the role that avant-garde, transgressive performance and art can play in resisting oppressive political regimes of all kinds.
